As I stated before, everything is made up of energy.  If you refer to the photographs on the Metaphysics page, you will see the Aura, these are represented by clouds of colour around the body.  For the most part these are not visible to the naked eye.  Clairvoyants are often able to see these clouds of energy or Auras in some form of representation.

There are several layers of the Aura.  For the purpose of this discussion we will focus on the 3 main levels, the Ethereal Aura, which is very close to the body and is like a ‘silver lining' that takes the shape of the physical body and is often just about 10cm thick, with a little bit of practise and technique anybody can see this.  Depending of how you are feeling this can be bigger.

Then we have the Inner Aura.  This energy represents with colour and again depending on how you are feeling can be large or closer to the body, eg, if you have meditated or prayed and have in someway felt in touch with a Divine energy, this Inner Aura field will be much larger than someone who is feeling depressed or tired or ill.  The Outer Aura can be really large.  It has been said that an Outer Aura could fill a very large room and beyond.  Again, this is dependant on how the individual is feeling and how in touch they are with a Divine presence, whatever they define this to be.

In Pranic Healing much of the work is done on these fields.  It is not to say that the Pranic Healer is Clairvoyant and able to see the Aura clearly, whilst sometimes this is the case, it is not a necessity or a requirement.  The Pranic Healer will feel the energy of the Aura.  Anyone can do this once they know how.

Pranic Healing works on the premise that the body is self Healing.  It is an intelligent system that knows exactly what to do to heal, let's use the simple example of a cut or burn.  The plaster or ointment that you apply is not what heals the wound.  The body sends platelets and serum and metabolic processes kick in to knit the skin together.  The application of the plaster or ointment is often to protect the wound from external elements such as bacteria.  So with this in mind, Pranic Healing is a Healing modality that is not created to replace conventional medicine by any means, but it is complimentary, and really aids the speed of recovery.  So, you can use all the conventional ‘medical' methods to assist in healing the wound, but the body is doing the work.  Pranic Healing is assisting the body's Energy System and thereby increasing the speed of recovery.

Much of the work done in Pranic Healing is cleansing.  The cleansing process is essentially to clear away ‘dirty' energies that get stuck in the Aura, this dirty energy can later manifest on a physical or emotional level.  So cleansing the Aura, is clearing away the ‘dirty' energy.  When I refer to ‘dirty' energy, it is not to say that you are ‘dirty', it is just that we pick up energies from all over the place.  Have you ever gone to a shopping mall on a busy day, when you arrive you feel perfectly fine, but within an hour you feel cranky and irritated and a range of negative emotions set in.  You have picked up energy from other people in the mall.  So, just like taking a bath or a shower it is important to keep the body clean and bacteria free, it is important to cleanse the Aura.  A very simple ‘‘DIY'' way of doing this is taking a warm bath with Salt in it, and an intention to cleanse the Aura.  The difference between the ‘DIY' method and seeing a Pranic Healer, is simply that we comb out the health rays, which would then stimulate the immune system.

Whilst Aura cleansing is very important to do, it is only a very small portion of Pranic Healing, cleansing the ‘dirty' energies which often manifest in pain,  is an even bigger part of Pranic Healing.  Yes, often conventional medicine is unable to resolve some medical conditions.  Pranic Healing can be very helpful with such cases, as it addresses the areas of concern on a holistic level as opposed to applying the plaster and ointment even though these are important.

Another aspect of Pranic Healing deals with is the body's Chakra system.  Most people are familiar with the 7 point Chakra system, being; base, sacral, solar-plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown.  In Pranic Healing the Chakra system has been extended to 11 main points on the body and hundreds of other minor Chakras all over the body and organs.

As far as the colouring of the 11 Chakras are concerned, it is not the very simplistic system of solid colours of red, orange, yellow, green, blue indigo and violet respectively.  Below is a graphic representation of the dynamic representation of the 11 Chakras.  This is how a clairvoyant would see the Chakras.  The colouring of the Chakras is important from the point of view of showing a clear and healthy flow in the Chakra system, and whether there are any energetic blockages and imbalances.

With an unbalanced or blocked Chakra system often the organs associated with that Chakra will manifest some form of disease.  So, keeping these clear and balanced is a crucial aspect to staying healthy and maintaining your vitality.

So, if you are suffering from some kind of pain, or generally feeling depleted and lacking enthusiasm, this could be a manifestation of a disrupted Energy System and a good cleansing session, could just be what you need.
